Alona heads the AFi’s communications team and leads communications strategy, messaging, and content development. She brings more than twelve years of experience in conservation and sustainability communications from roles at NGOs and private companies. Alona has also worked in media for over eleven years and has earned numerous prestigious journalism awards. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and enjoys the arts, travel, and volunteering.
