Science and Policy Fellow (Rainforest Alliance)
Sam leads and supports AFi’s work on defining, assessing, and analysing non-forest natural ecosystems and their conversion for commodity production. This role includes contributing to scientific analyses, collaborating with AFi partners and experts, and assisting AFi strategy, stakeholder engagement, and product development. Sam’s background is in land systems and supply chain sustainability, having previously worked at environmental consultancies, NGOs, and in academia. He lives in New York City where he enjoys cooking, cycling, and printmaking in his free time.
