The Accountability Framework initiative (AFi) partnered with CDP Asia to host a series of webinars in Bahasa Indonesia to introduce the Accountability Framework to palm oil and forestry companies in Indonesia and Malaysia.
Effective management of forest-related risks needs to be grounded on strong commitments and policies. In this webinar, CDP highlights the importance of commitments as a positive signal for a company’s stakeholders and the key elements needed to establish a strong deforestation-free commitment based on the AFi guidance. Setting and strengthening commitments also paves the way for effective implementation and demonstration of progress. Additionally, this webinar covers the CDP forest questionnaire that can be used by Small Medium Enterprises (SME) on their journey towards removing deforestation from supply chains and operations.
