The Accountability Framework initiative (AFi) is pleased to open registration for its first webinar of its 2023-2024 series starting with the topic of protecting forests, natural ecosystems, and human rights in shifting landscapes.
Scheduled for Thursday 25 May 2023, the webinar is designed for companies operating in the agriculture and forestry commodity sectors. In this interactive session, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and input into the topics for future webinars. See more details below.
Webinar description
Today, companies are facing increased pressure to act on climate, nature, biodiversity, and other emerging responsible supply chain topics. This webinar will explore how companies can use Accountability Framework to improve their policies and practices to help tackle deforestation, conversion, and human rights abuses.
By following the Framework’s consensus-based guidance, companies can be confident that they are applying good practices and meeting stakeholder and market expectations.

This webinar will be moderated by a representative from AFi Coalition member organisation Proforest and feature presenters from the AFi, as well as corporate insights from McDonald’s. Speakers include:
