AFi website launched in four new languages

9 November 2023

The AFi website and two Framework documents now available in French, Indonesian, Portuguese, and Spanish.

The Accountability Framework initiative (AFi) has translated its website and two Framework documents in to four additional languages: French, Indonesian, Portuguese, and Spanish.

The new sites and documents make AFi resources on achieving ethical supply chains more accessible to users in key sourcing regions.

Translated websites

The AFi relaunched its English language website in May 2023 to give visitors a smoother user experience. The site makes it easier to learn about the Accountability Framework and related topics.

The AFi offers resources for companies that produce or source agricultural and forestry commodities to support them on their ethical supply chain journeys.

To access the translated sites, simply click the language switcher in the top-right of this page and select your chosen language from the dropdown. Then, the site will reload and allow you to navigate through all pages available in your translated language. Alternatively, click your chosen language below:

Translated Accountability Framework documents

In addition to the translated websites, the AFi has published translated versions of two recently updated documents: the Accountability Framework’s Core Principles and the Operational Guidance on Applying the Definitions Related to Deforestation.

Both documents are now available in the four languages mentioned above, in addition to English. Translated versions of the Framework’s Definitions and other Operational Guidance documents will be published in the coming months.

The Accountability Framework’s Core Principles guide companies on setting, implementing, and monitoring effective supply chain commitments on deforestation, conversion, and human rights.

The Operational Guidance on Applying Definitions Related to Deforestation and Conversion gives advice on how to apply the Framework’s definitions in different contexts.

To access the translated versions of these documents, navigate to the Access the Accountability Framework page in your chosen site language.
